Virginia is the key
For the first time since 1968 the state of Virginia might lean to the Democratic side. As of now based on the cnn polls Obama is leading McCain by 7 points and 5 percent are still undecided. If Obama is able to pull a win in Virginia then I believe the election will be over and Obama will get the win. I would say it is a must win for McCain but at the same time he might lose his own state of Arizona. At the same time McCain has told supporters that he will win the elections but he is a huge underdog this election. Who knows Tampa Bay Rays were in last place last year and now they are in the World Series. Can this be a sign for things to come?

Personally, I'm betting that Obama will carry Virginia. Most of my family lives in VA, and in pretty red areas. They have told me that there is incredible enthusiasm for Obama that they have never seen for a Democratic Candidate.
Here's how I'd break Virginia down:
Pro-Obama: Popular Democratic Governor, Popular Democratic Senate Candidate, high African American population, many "northerners" have moved there, strong support of the DC suburbs.
Pro-McCain: Large veteran population, Large Religious Conservative population.
In the end, I think Obama will win by 3 points in VA.
